What In The Hell Was I Thinking?

Today's blog post has absolutely nothing to do with anything interesting. That's because I have nothing interesting to write about. So, just so I can say I wrote something, I'll tell you what is going on at this moment in time.

I'm sitting at work, staring at the computer screen, any desire to write anything meaningful is just not there these days. I just feel numb.

So I guess I'll force something.

I'm sitting here alone at work. Nobody else is here because Tropical Storm Edouard is paying Houston a visit as I write this. We were told yesterday to just watch the news and make our own judgement as to whether to come in to work or to stay home. I made the judgement to come in, but like always, my judgements seem to be 180 degrees out from everybody elses.

Really, it's not that bad outside. The storm took a slight turn to the north last night and instead of tracking right over my house like it was aiming for yesterday, it made landfall to the east of Houston, and since it's a compact storm, all we are getting is some heavy rain showers. There's not even much wind, and no lightning and thunder or spinnies... Krissi will be disappointed....

So, my main concern went from losing power, water, (Internet) for some uncertain amount of time, to whether or not the roads might flood between work and my home, trapping me here at work. Staying here overnight is not something I would want to experience. What would there be to do? There's no food, no bed, and I am restricted as to Internet access. There's nothing here to entertain myself with. Especially since I'm not supposed to be cumming and all...

Well, it's gotten a little darker, and the rain is picking back up again, so I'm gonna close down and head for home while I still can.

On Tease Time And Other Burning Questions...

Regarding Tease Time, I didn't go to Tease Time last night so I don't know if Princess put one on or not. Maybe somebody could enlighten me on this one.
